Made for the Third Trimester

The last few months are when the belt stops cooperating. It rides up over your bump at every stop light, and you spend the drive reaching down to push it back where it belongs.

This holds the lap strap low across your hips so you can stop fidgeting and just drive. It's a comfort accessory — not a safety device, and not a replacement for wearing your seat belt properly.

BumpGuard Vs Other Baby Seat Belts

Plenty of positioners are a strip of fabric and a buckle. Here's what we do differently.

FAQs

Will this work throught my Pregnancy

Yes. The strap is fully adjustable, so it grows with you. As your belly expands over the trimesters, you can loosen the tension to keep the lap belt sitting low and comfortable. Most people set it once in their second trimester and barely touch it again.

How do I install it?

Sit in your seat and place the base flat where you normally sit, strap facing forward. Feed the strap through the gap between the seat and backrest, run it underneath the seat, and pull it snug so the base doesn't slide — check that the strap isn't twisted. Then buckle your seat belt as usual and guide the lap section through the lower guides. Once it's set, leave it installed and just buckle in normally every trip.

What happens to the strap over time — does it wear out or loosen?

The inner layer is steel and the outer is thermoplastic rubber, built to last. The strap won't fray or degrade from regular use. If it ever loosens over time, you can re-tighten it in about 30 seconds — same process as installation.
